Trapping outdoor cats in order to spay/neuter them is easier than most people realize. This page provides a basic overview, you can also visit our page that has detailed instructions for trap-neuter-return (TNR), including videos. We also have information on low-cost spay/neuter resources.
Additionally, Furrever Friends can offer advice on how to trap cats.
Many communities support the practice of TNR to manage colonies of feral cats. In TNR, cats from a feral colony are trapped, taken to a vet for spay/neutering, vaccination and other vet care, and returned to the colony.
