Toothless Lucy

Siamese Tortoiseshell

Fostered in Woodbury, NJ

10/12 years old

Torti Point Siamese

Toothless. Deaf. Possibly epileptic.

Although this cutie does not need special care now, she may in the near future.

Sweet, affectionate,lovable..and so tiny! Lucinda likes to be petted and rolls all over for more and more. She sleeps with you in bed and follows you through the house. Oh, and she loves toys!

She was found walking the streets of Philadelphia after a snowstorm, thin and hungry. This must have been very scary for a DEAF cat. What shocked rescuers was the condition of her MOUTH: life on the street had led to her mouth and gums becoming very, very infected. The poor girl was thin because it was too painful for her to eat! Lucinda went through TWO dental surgeries to remove ALL of her teeth!

Lucinda is all healed from her surgery and eats mostly wet food (the mushy kind, no chunks). She has displayed some strange "twitching" in her face, and we worry she may be a slight epileptic that may need seizure medication down the line. She needs a QUIET home, where there will be lots of time for her to sleep (she IS an older girl) and no noisy children. This kitty is NOT fond of other cats but will "tolerate" their presence. Lucinda purrfers PEOPLE. But she loves people! Lucinda is one of the sweetest, most affectionate cats EVER...and her blue eyes will melt your heart!
