Solomon is a victim of the bad economy. His owner lost her job and then her home and tried hard to find a long term foster able to keep her beloved cats together. She was sure she would be back on her feet in a few months. As the time got closer that she would have to leave her home, she couldn't find a foster home for the two cats. So, she had to split them up. One cat found a home with a friend and the other cat, Solomon, found a foster home willing to keep him for six months. She called several times to check on Solomon and visited him. Sadly, her situation has not changed and Solomon is looking for a new home.

Solomon is about 3-4 years old. He is neutered, up to date on shots and negative for FIV and FLeuk. He can be quite shy at first but when he is comfortable with you, he is very affectionate. He loves to play and will play fetch with his favorite toy. He can get carried away and sometimes will give gentle, love bites. He keeps himself immaculate and can get hair balls. He likes Temptation hairball treats and a few of these a day keep the fur balls under control.

He loves paper and loves to shred it! He gets along with other cats, but is a little scared of them. He is not a destructive cat and doesn't scratch the furniture.

He's a sweet young man who deserves lots of attention and love. He was heartbroken when he lost his owner and feline friend, so we know he would love to settle into a forever home.
