Penelope was rescued from behind a grocery store in a snow storm, along with several other cats. VERY shy AT FIRST, she is a lovebug once she learns that you (1) have treats and (2) will pet her! In a new home, she will hide at first, but will need time and love to get to trust you. In foster care, she loves to be kissed and scratched and head butted! She likes other cats, too, and like to head butt them and lick them clean.

As you can see, Penelope's right ear is missing its "tip". When rescuers do a TNR (trap-neuter-return) project, the tip of the cats' ear will be cut like this as the universal sign that the cat is fixed and vaccinated should it ever be trapped again.
