My name is Lily Marlaine. My human mommy and best friend, Connie, passed away peacefully on 12/3 after having a long illness. Connie's family felt I was a nuisance and wanted me to be taken away. But my mommy needed me, and she fought everyday to keep me with her despite their constant insistance that I leave. Thankfully, my mommy put the phone number of a FF volunteer on the fridge in case anything happened to her. Jenna came and got me, and a scarf my mommy always wore, the day after my mommy died. Here I am, with the scarf my mommy made. I am very confused and sad. I am 8 years old, shy at first, and need a new family and new bestfriend. I love to headbutt you, give kisses, and play with toy mousies that rattle. Please please consider giving me a place to live, forever, before Christmas is here.
