Spencer was rescued in April 2010 when he owners brought him to the vet to be put to sleep.
Spencer is 11 years old and front declawed. He would sometimes make mistakes with his litterbox. We think that Spencer has developed arthritis in his front paws from getting this toes being amputated (yes, that is what declawing is!) and he found it painful to dig in litter. We are now using a very soft feeling cat litter AND placed Spencer on a mild antidepressant (the meds are very inexpensive). He is very happy now.
Spencer likes to spend his days laying on the couch and purring. He likes toys and enjoys playing with you. He is fearful of other animals, so would do best in a quiet home as the ONLY pet. Small children also frighten him.
